Sorority Clothing is a timeless fashion label that embraces elegance and classic style with vintage-inspired designs crafted from all-natural fibres. The brand’s mission is to create beautiful, wearable cotton pieces that transcend trends, offering women versatile, seasonless wardrobe staples.
When I first spoke with Cara, the owner, it was clear she wanted to elevate her brand’s imagery to better reflect its sophistication and prestige. Her previous visuals leaned into a typical boho-in-a-field aesthetic, but I knew her target market needed something with more refinement. We selected a stunning model who perfectly represented the ideal Sorority Clothing customer, ensuring the collection would appeal across a broader age range while maintaining the brand’s aspirational feel.
With a devoted clientele based in Roma, many of whom are stylish, upmarket country women, we wanted a setting that felt elevated yet familiar. A charming cottage provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to create an inviting, aspirational atmosphere that reflected the lifestyle Sorority Clothing’s customers dream of.
To add warmth and storytelling to the images, we incorporated thoughtful details—fresh flowers, cosy reading nooks, and even some free-roaming chickens that serendipitously made their way into the shots. Everyday moments like arranging flowers, slicing fruit, and reading by a sunlit window gave the collection an editorial quality while maintaining a natural, effortless appeal. Since this wasn’t an e-commerce shoot, I focused on capturing intricate details of the garments, highlighting the craftsmanship in the stitching, buttons, and fabric textures to showcase them beautifully on the brand’s online store.
The final gallery is a joyful and rich visual story, with every corner of the cottage used to create variety and depth, ensuring fresh, engaging content for the website and social platforms. To provide Cara with maximum versatility, I delivered a double edit—one that preserved the true-to-life colours of the garments and another with a moodier, vintage-inspired tone for promotional use.
This collection was an instant success. The moment the imagery was launched on the website, pieces from the Autumn collection started selling out—proving the power of strong visuals in driving brand engagement and sales.
